Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
What a madcap, conspiracy-tastic, CGI-bloated, story-free, utterly silly film. The characterisation is minimal, the plot confusedly bonkers, the SFX impressive, the action relentless, the nostalgia clunking, and the franchise threadbare. But it was nice to see Indy do his thing again and survive unscathed. It will make millions. And today, it was just what I needed.

My I agree with you on that review?
I went to see it with my 6-yr-old son on BH Monday. Loved it.
One of the great things about being a mum is that I get to watch loads of films like this, and the cinema is a great way of both doing the parenthood thing and bonding with your kids whilst simulatnaeously being entertained and having a bit of a rest! I like to think I'm bringing up a future film director or screenwriter... I think we go to on average one film together a fortnight.
