Britain's first-ever Muslim initiative to undermine the arguments and global narrative of the al-Qaeda mindset will launch this month.
Confirmed speakers include Muslim scholars, Jemima Khan, Lord Paddy Ashdown, Professor Timothy Garton Ash, and Ed Husain.
Maajid Nawaz, who spent four years in an Egyptian prison for membership of an extremist group, is director of the Quilliam Foundation and will chair the event.
The media will be given access to a new group of former Islamists who have recently left extremist groups. Maajid Nawaz and Ed Husain will also take questions from the press.
