The final mouse saga installment

The dreadful finale of the mouse saga is here. It got bumped off the top slot by urgent political-bloggery and a promised concert reminder. But the mouse was a bit of a legend, and his antics were followed by hundreds of people over the summer so I think his last adventure deserves to be featured on the blog front page for more than just a few hours on a Sunday.
UPDATE: Calamity Jane has a similar tale with a happier ending

Can't help feeling sorry for him really...:-( Though with the little buggers scurrying all through my floorboards, I know how irritating they can be!

Was that pic of The Mouse? What a long tail!!

Aw Rachel, couldn't you have used a humane trap?

I don't think he deserved to die just 'cos he needed somewhere warm to live and was humiliating the cat.

What would you do with him though once you had caught him in a humane trap?

He would just come straight back in. Mice are pests and spread disease (in addition to humiliating cats).

I had a neighbour that used humane traps. I think she must have humanely trapped that mouse about 1000 times.

My mice are wise to the peanut butter traps now

Don't go near them

I'm going to have to use mars bars again

Yes humane traps don't work...tried them repeatedly...one time a mouse chewed his way through the plastic box he was trapped in.

I just release them in my local park. They don't seem to come back so far.

They shouldn't be too germy, what with all the soap they eat!
