Talking of 'news'....

Well done that woman. Round of applause for MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski who refused to lead on the Paris Hilton story, attempting to set fire to the script, then shredding it in protest. Hurrah for journalistic integrity. Her co-presenters then proceed to act like boorish idiots,('why are you such a journalist?') which makes her look even more ace by comparison, particularly when she says 'I am about to snap', and 'I'm going to do the NEWS now'. Yay!

How come they get to argue about what the news is on air whilst they are reading it? We could do with some of that. Sorry I missed your goodbye Blair/hello Brown pub visit the other day, hope to meet up soon.

This is going to do the rounds.
I was beginning to lose faith in journalism in the round and agreed with Blairs critique of the need for "impact" in the Independent on 13th June.

The story of the Hampshire Crack where the nationals went for impact linking a Barton on Sea 2 year old cliff instability with the Kent earthquake is my contribution ( including an iconic photo) to this debate at

Mika Brzezinski way to go.

Well done to Mika Brzezinski. Those two twats co-presenting in the clip should be fired.

I would agree 100%, twas sort of the inverse of GMTV the other day,
Fiona Philips (horse breath according to Gordon Ramsay) during a live broadcast of the floods in Yorkshire, when she shrills, Sorry to stop you there, but we most go live to see Paris walk free'
I'm happy I missed that, but not happy I missed the horse breath one.
