The Fireman's Story & 3 months on

Here is the story of how Blue Watch ran to the Kings Cross train to help and what they found. ( Warning: it is very harrowing).

And here is a round up of the police investigation so far.

The emergency services and London tube staff have been magnificent.

Hi Rachel,
Thank you the Firefighter's story. I've been working as a cosultant for the London Fire Brigade for a long time now and have made some good friends amongst the Uniformed staff.

Fortunately none of them were involved in the rescue operation, but my deepest respect goes to those that helped people like you, and my best wishes and love go to the people like you. Neither group asked to be drawn in, but you are both dealing with the changes in your lives in such a brave and honest way.

Thank you for that Gary.

It is an almost unbearable piece to read, the Firefighter's story, but needs to be told. I'd love to meet Blue Watch and thank them. Even invite them to meet Kings Cross United down the pub!
